First Bell 407 Main Rotor Hub Overhaul in New Zealand

We have a company-wide vision to continuously improve and develop our vast range of services. Of course this is a benefit to our bottom line but more importantly, it benefits our clients in knowing that the services they and their aircraft receive are of the highest caliber, offering peace of mind every time their machine gets back in the air.

One of the first steps we take in ensuring quality is in hiring industry professionals who bring with them the knowledge and expertise built from a lifetime working in aviation. We back our team 100% and support a culture of knowledge sharing, therefore, our younger team members gain by learning from the best. We support our staff with training opportunities, whether that be done in-house, through education facilities or with the aircraft manufacturers.

Oceania Aviation also has a mandate for expanding our already diverse range of functions, thus allowing our clients the benefit of dealing predominately with one service facility. We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop for aviation in New Zealand and believe this to offer significant benefits to our clients. A prime example of this was demonstrated by our Helicopter Components team when they overhauled the first Bell 407 main rotor hub in New Zealand.

While 407 hubs are fairly maintenance friendly, they are labour intensive. The end product looked great and in the spirit of ensuring continuous improvement, we had the local Bell CSR on-site to offer advice.

This was done for one of our New Zealand customers who support our company strategy to grow Bell business in the region by offering local support.
