Home Build Or Factory Made Sport Aircraft

Interested in an aircraft that matches and outdoes almost every counterpart in it's class, while remaining highly economical and fun to fly? We are now the New Zealand distributor for two incredible aircraft, the Sling 2 and Sling 4.

Manufactured by South African based The Airplane Factory, both are proven in round-the-world adventures. The model name reflecting the number of occupants, the Sling 2 is classed as an LSA or ML and is available ready-made or as a kit for home build while the Sling 4 is only available for home build.

Built in all alloy construction, each model comes with the latest in avionics and flight systems, making this state-of-the-art flying experience both easy and safe.

The modem interior beckons with the wide cockpit offering plenty of shoulder space, all-round views and storage for long items.

Sling 2 is classified as a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) with a maximum take-off weight of 600 kg and a base weight of 378 kg, depending on your additional options this can increase another 111kg.

The Sling 4, with it's four seats, has base weight at 475kg with optional extras that can add up to 56.6 kg additional weight. One requirement of the Sling 4 is that 51% of the build is completed domestically. Our facilities and staff are available for 51-100% of the build of the Sling 4, allowing operators to be as involved in the build as they would like.

Whether you want either aircraft for training or leisure, both aircraft are very functional and economical.
